A few weeks ago we threw, what on paper would read, like a very straight forward, friends-meet-at-a-bar, have-some-drinks, sing-happy-birthday ... low key night. In real life, the night turned into the most festive, perfectly-lit-so-your-skin-glows, dance till your belly hurts from laughing.... kind of party. And it's oh so easy to recreate.
If you've got a full bar to yourself you can take the decor to the next level (if you're a millionaire socialite that is), but to keep things simple and still pack a punch we fell in love with these quick and easy go to's.
1. "Throwback Thursday" frames filled with photos of the guest of honor and placed around the room are the best convo starters.

2. Wearable decor like these birthday paper glasses look great spread across tables and will give people lots of poses for photos.

3 Keeping with a theme of just straight up "Birthday" going with balloons that felt both chic and fun were key. We decided on a mix and match-y vibe going with shiny birthday letters, nostalgic kiddie party, meets pinterest-y pretty and the mix was right on point.

Here at PG, we love a good main event or activity. Whether that be a performance, a big presentation or just good old bottle sparklers. Our bar party had a shot ski and a naked cowboy to go with it. A naked cowboy singing happy birthday is one thing, but having him pour drinks and do shot ski's with your guests is actually just the icing on the cake. Shot Skis are the new funnel. You need one. Period.
Take a look at the best bar party we've been to in a while and get to shopping for your next birthday, engagement, or boozy Wednesday night because these chachki's are confirmed crowd pleasers.

This weekend was one of the most beautiful and fun we've ever seen. The house was gorgeous and the views breathtaking, but what's a bachelorette without a little glitter and some props to get the party started? It's important as a NON- bridesmaid to make sure you know your place and keep from stepping on any toes. However, we knew we wanted to do a few things to make this weekend extra special for the bride to be. These are just a few small favors and little surprises that let us show our Bachelorette love without going over the top, and letting the bridesmaids still have their shining moment.
After catching a glimpse of these donut diamond rings on intstagram, we knew they were an absolute must. Knowing it was going to be easy to fall into a bachelorette crafting rabbit hole we quickly reeled ourselves in and then decided to just started with those. After that, glittering the bottles and plastic champagne glasses was a breeze. Note: if you don't like drinking glitter, you're weird. Ha! Just kidding. No but seriously, if you don't like drinking a little glitter, skip the glitter glasses. It will 100% be in your drink.
One booty veil (literally a 2 minute project) and an amazon flamingo order later and we had a full suitcase of party tricks for the Bachelorette Babe.
Bachelorette Party in a bag. Literally. A carry on.

A milestone birthday calls for a milestone party. Not just any party, a rodeo. What better way to take advantage of the summer heat than to go full swing into a sweaty dance party full of mechanical bulls, ice cream trucks, old time photos and beer pong!?
Planning this party was both the easiest and most fun we've done. The birthday girl being a quintisentail "girl's girl" and with a massive amount of space to play with it was easy to start whipping up some decor and get the party started.
Burlap, twine, hay with pops of pink throughout was the world we created. A little bit of glitter (because... duh.) and some beautiful florals pulled it all together to be the most epic house party.
